About this fabric

Part of the Lunar Book Collection by Ashley Wilde, this fabric combines 54% polyester with 46% cotton for a practical handle and a softly structured drape. The plain weave is visible in the swatch, giving the surface a fine horizontal grain and a low-key textile character rather than a glossy finish. In this colourway, the blue sits between navy and slate, with a muted indigo depth that darkens elegantly in shadow. Specified at 140cm wide and tested to 50,000 severe contract rubs, it is suitable for severe contract upholstery and drapes. At 459 grams per linear metre and 340 grams per square metre, it has the substance expected of a hardworking decorative plain made in India.

How to use it

Use Lunar Indigo on a clean-lined sofa or banquette where its cool blue depth can anchor lighter walls and timber finishes. It also works well for curtains or Roman blinds when you want a smart, cocooning tone without a heavy pattern.
