Hampton Indigo

Monterey Collection FabricHAMPTON

Hampton Indigo pairs a deep indigo ground with fine cream stripes for a clean, tailored look. The colour reads cool and restrained, with a quietly crisp contrast that suits classic window dressing.

About this fabric

Woven in India from 63% cotton and 37% polyester, this drapes-only fabric has a substantial handle at 533g per linear metre and a width of 142cm. The vertical stripe pattern has a 10cm repeat, with slender cream bands set against a dense navy-indigo ground that feels composed rather than loud. The surface shows a subtle woven texture, so the dark blue base catches the light softly instead of appearing flat. Its smart stripe gives the fabric a disciplined, heritage feel that works especially well where a room needs height and order.

How to use it

Choose Hampton Indigo for full-length curtains, interlined if you want the indigo to sit more deeply at the window. The cream striping looks especially sharp against pale walls, natural timber, or painted joinery.

Use for tailored curtains where the crisp cream stripes can sharpen the room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
