About this fabric

Part of the Monterey Collection by Ashley Wilde, this fabric is composed of 63% cotton and 37% polyester and is specified for drapes only. The 142cm width and 10cm horizontal pattern repeat make the stripe easy to plan for curtain drops, while the substantial 533 grams per linear metre gives it a fuller, more substantial handle. Visually, the colourway sits in a muted denim blue with a slightly weathered cast, lifted by slim cream-white pinstripes and fine darker lines that sharpen the rhythm of the design. The overall effect is smart but easygoing, with enough texture in the weave to keep the stripes from feeling flat.

How to use it

Use it for tailored curtains in a scheme with painted timber, pale oak and brushed metal, where the cool blue tone can add structure without feeling harsh. It works especially well when paired with chalky whites and soft grey-blue accents.
