About this fabric

Woven in 52% cotton and 48% polyester, Augustine Seafoam is a decorative fabric with the practicality to handle severe contract upholstery and drapes. The swatch shows slender vertical stripes in cool seafoam blue-green, softened by warm beige and crisp ivory bands, giving the design a light coastal balance rather than a bold contrast. Its 9cm horizontal repeat and 138cm width make the stripe easy to work across larger drops and upholstered pieces, while the 50,000 rub test supports demanding use. At 399gsm, it reads as a reassuring mid-weight cloth with enough substance for structured soft furnishings.

How to use it

Use this colourway where you want a breezy stripe that still feels composed: it works well on armchairs, banquettes and relaxed curtains. The muted seafoam tone pairs especially well with whitewashed timber, oatmeal linens and pale stone surfaces.

Pair with pale oak, chalk white and brushed brass for a fresh, coastal feel.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
