About this fabric

Woven in 52% cotton and 48% polyester, Augustine Ash is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 50,000 rub test and a generous 138cm width. The stripe reads as a series of chalky ivory, warm beige and smoky ash-grey bands, with the grey bringing definition without looking harsh. Its decorative character is lifted by the subtle woven surface, which softens the contrast between each narrow stripe. At 399gsm, it has enough substance to feel substantial on seating while still remaining suitable for curtains and other window treatments. The 9cm horizontal pattern repeat keeps the vertical rhythm neat and regular.

How to use it

Use this ash-toned stripe on a tailored armchair, bench cushion or lined drape where you want structure without strong colour. It works especially well with oak, pale stone and warm metallic accents.
