Lucio Putty

Portofino Collection FabricLUCIO

Lucio Putty shows a calm, finely ribbed plain in a muted putty taupe. The vertical pinstripes read as a subtle woven texture rather than a bold pattern.

About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 88% polyester and 12% nylon, Lucio Putty is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 40,000 rub test for demanding use. The fabric has a disciplined plain ground with very fine vertical striping and a barely perceptible horizontal line at 0.5cm repeat, giving the surface a tailored, cloth-like rhythm. In this colourway the shade sits between warm grey and taupe, with a dry, chalky softness that keeps it understated rather than glossy. At 145cm wide and 250gsm, it presents as a substantial yet versatile textile suited to polished interior schemes.

How to use it

Use Lucio Putty on banquettes, headboards or fitted curtains where a quiet neutral is needed without feeling flat. Its soft taupe tone sits especially well with oak, stone and black accents, adding warmth while staying crisp.

A restrained putty neutral that works cleanly across tailored upholstery and drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
