About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Marina Oat is specified for general domestic upholstery and drapes, making it a versatile mid-weight fabric with a practical 25,000 rub test. The cloth is 140cm wide and has a substantial handle at 546 grams per linear metre, with a dense 390gsm weight that suits everyday interior use. Visually, the colour sits between beige and taupe with a warm, chalky softness rather than a yellow cream, and the subtle texture keeps the plain surface from reading flat. The finish catches light with a gentle matte shift, giving the fabric quiet depth without strong pattern contrast.

How to use it

Use Marina Oat for a tailored armchair, banquette or relaxed curtains where you want a warm neutral that won’t dominate the room. Its soft taupe tone pairs well with natural woods, stone, linen and muted green accents.

A calm neutral that works beautifully on tailored seating or soft drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
