Blickling Stone

Tatton Park Collection FabricBLICKLING

Blickling Stone has a calm stone-taupe ground scattered with slender botanical stems and tiny pale blooms. The overall effect is soft, airy and understated, with the pattern sitting neatly against the background rather than shouting for attention.

About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester and supplied as a drapes-only fabric, Blickling Stone is a practical decorative textile with a gentle handle and a neat, tailored appearance. The 140 cm width and 27.5 cm vertical by 48 cm horizontal repeat support a measured trailing motif that reads clearly across the cloth. Visually, the design pairs a muted taupe-grey ground with warm beige stems and small off-white floral dots, creating a low-contrast finish that feels composed and easy to live with. At 329 gsm / 235 gsm, it has enough substance to hang with presence while still keeping the lightness expected of a curtain fabric. Made in India, it sits comfortably in the smart end of the market, with a restrained botanical character rather than a bold decorative statement.

How to use it

Use this colourway for floor-length curtains in a light neutral scheme, where its stone tones can soften plaster, oak and pale painted wood. It also works well in bedrooms and sitting rooms that need pattern without losing the calm, cool feel of the room.

A quiet stone taupe that adds a refined botanical layer without feeling heavy.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Blickling Stone without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
