About this fabric

Woven in 67% polyester and 33% cotton, Pepin Truffle is a drapes-only fabric with a substantial handle at 336 g per linear metre and a 140 cm width. The surface reads as a soft, earthy taupe with subtle khaki-brown depth, broken by fine textural striations that catch the light without looking shiny. Its small-scale texture gives the colourway a calm, grounded feel, while the 28 cm vertical repeat and 23 cm horizontal repeat indicate a clearly structured design beneath the mottled finish. Made in India, this is a practical, characterful cloth for window treatments where a natural-looking texture is wanted.

How to use it

Use Pepin Truffle for full-length curtains or relaxed interlinings in rooms with oak, linen and stone finishes. Its muted taupe tone works especially well where you want warmth without introducing a strong colour statement.

A muted taupe that layers easily with natural woods and soft neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
