About this fabric

Part of the Provence Collection by Ashley Wilde, Rhone River is a drapes-only fabric woven in 67% polyester and 33% cotton. The design shows a generous floral-botanical repeat, with branching stems and small leaf clusters traced in a light cream tone over a muted slate-blue ground. At 140cm wide and with a 46cm vertical repeat and 47cm horizontal repeat, it has the scale needed to show the pattern properly in full-length curtains. The fabric’s 240gsm weight gives it a reassuring body while still reading as a decorative drape rather than an upholstery cloth.

How to use it

Use this colourway for curtains in rooms that need a cool, restful note; the slate blue background feels especially good with pale woods, chalky paint colours and stone. It also works well as a soft counterpoint to tan leather or putty-coloured upholstery.

Pairs beautifully with linen, oak and brushed brass for a calm, tailored look.
