About this fabric

This colourway shows a cool, pale ivory ground threaded with narrow ink-blue marks, giving the design a soft but clearly defined geometric movement. The surface reads like a woven stripe or broken ikat, with the darker blue accents providing enough contrast to keep the pattern lively without becoming heavy. Made from 82% polyester and 18% cotton, this drapery fabric has a substantial handle at 247 gsm and a width of 139cm, making it suitable for full-length curtains and smart window treatments. The 34.5cm vertical repeat and 35cm horizontal repeat help preserve the pattern’s balanced rhythm across larger drops.

How to use it

Use Serrula Ink where you want a calm, tailored finish with a cooler mood, especially in rooms layered with pale wood, stone, or painted trim. Its ink-blue detail works well in traditional schemes that need pattern without visual weight.

The cool ink blue reads crisp against the soft pale ground, ideal for tailored curtains with a classic edge.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
