About this fabric

Woven in 70% polyester and 30% cotton, this Ashley Wilde fabric is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a width of 140cm and a rub test of 50,000. The image shows a delicate vertical stripe pattern made up of very fine beige and stone-toned lines on an ivory base, giving the cloth a quiet, linear texture rather than a bold contrast. The overall effect is soft, light and slightly warm, with enough structure to suit a smarter interior scheme. At 410gsm and 293gsm, it has the substantial feel needed for practical furnishing applications without looking heavy.

How to use it

Use Hickory Chambray for upholstered dining chairs, benches or headboards where the narrow stripe can add subtle rhythm. It also suits relaxed curtains or Roman blinds in neutral rooms that need a little pattern without losing brightness.
