Hickory Persimmon

Sherwood Collection FabricHICKORY

Hickory Persimmon is a fine vertical stripe in warm cream, softly lifted with muted persimmon-beige lines. The overall effect is calm and tailored, with just enough contrast to give the surface definition.

About this fabric

Woven in a 70% polyester and 30% cotton blend, this fabric is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, making it a practical choice for high-use schemes. The 140cm width and 50,000 rub test support its commercial performance, while the 410gsm weight gives it enough body to hang and upholster neatly. Visually, the stripe is narrow and understated, with a creamy ground broken by delicate pinkish-brown and taupe pinstripes that read warm rather than stark. The 7.5cm horizontal pattern repeat keeps the design measured and regular, which suits the traditional character of the collection.

How to use it

Use Hickory Persimmon on structured chairs, banquettes or smart curtains where the soft cream ground will brighten darker joinery. It works especially well with oak, aged brass and muted terracotta accents.

A clean warm neutral stripe that suits tailored upholstery and elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
