Marsa Shell

Starlette Collection FabricMARSA

Marsa Shell is a softly luminous shell-pink fabric with a gentle, woven texture and a calm, understated finish. The colour reads as warm cream kissed with blush, giving the surface a quiet depth rather than a flat solid.

About this fabric

From Ashley Wilde’s Starlette Collection, Marsa Shell is a 100% polyester fabric intended for drapes only, with a 140cm width and a weight of 252gsm (180gsm). The surface shows a fine, vertically brushed texture that catches the light softly, while the overall tone sits between pale cream and muted pink. Its 28cm vertical repeat and 23.5cm horizontal repeat are part of the design specification, though the effect here remains restrained and textural rather than boldly patterned. With no rub test noted and a manufacture origin of India, this colourway is best chosen for soft window treatments rather than hard-wearing seating.

How to use it

Use Marsa Shell for curtains in bedrooms, dressing rooms, or sitting rooms where a pale warm neutral is wanted without going stark white. It pairs especially well with chalky woods, linen upholstery, and brushed brass accents.

A quiet shell tone that softens light beautifully in calm, elegant schemes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
