About this fabric

This colourway shows a near-black base softened by cool charcoal and graphite striations, so the surface feels variegated rather than flat. The textured weave is visible across the full width, giving the fabric a dry, tactile look that suits the Starlette Collection’s understated style. Made from 100% polyester and specified for drapes only, it is a practical choice for window treatments where a darker, moodier finish is needed. At 140cm wide, with a 28cm vertical repeat and 23.5cm horizontal repeat, the pattern has enough scale to register clearly while still reading as a subtle texture. With a weight of 252 grams per linear metre / 180 gsm, it has a substantial curtain presence without appearing heavy.

How to use it

Use Marsa Noir for tailored curtains, wave headers or full-height drapes in contemporary schemes where a deep neutral is needed. It pairs especially well with pale plaster, concrete, smoke grey or warm timber, letting the fabric's charcoal sheen add contrast.
