About this fabric

This Acacia fabric from Fryett's Fabrics is composed of 68% cotton and 32% polyester, with a 145cm width and a 53cm pattern repeat. The swatch shows a blackened charcoal base with irregular vertical linework in soft taupe and stone, creating a strong, high-contrast striation across the cloth. The surface has a dry, woven look with visible texture in the lighter lines, which adds movement and a slightly rugged finish. It feels more tailored than glossy, making the design especially suitable where a bold pattern is wanted without shine. Care instructions are NQT1<.

How to use it

This colourway works well on an accent chair, ottoman or statement cushions, where the dark ground can anchor lighter upholstery. Pair it with walnut, aged brass and warm neutrals to pick up the taupe striations.

Use with clean-lined furniture and warm woods to soften the high-contrast look.
