About this fabric

This 300 gsm fabric has a deep ebony tone with understated charcoal variation across its plain-looking surface. Its 144 cm usable width offers practical coverage for upholstery or drapery applications, while the 35 m standard length suits larger projects. With a 0 cm vertical and horizontal pattern repeat, the quiet texture can be handled without matching a motif. The finish reads as composed and architectural rather than glossy, making the near-black colour especially effective where strong, controlled depth is wanted.

How to use it

Use Alvar Ebony on a tailored sofa, occasional chair or full-length curtain where its cool, deep black tone can anchor lighter walls and soften against natural wood, stone or brushed metal.
