About this fabric

Woven at 300gsm and supplied with a 144cm usable width, Alvar Denim has the substance for upholstery while remaining suitable for drapery. The blue colour sits between slate and faded denim, with a softly softened appearance rather than a bright or highly saturated finish. Fine irregularities across the surface create a quiet, cloudy texture that changes gently as the light moves over it. With no pattern repeat vertically or horizontally, it presents as a continuous plain ground.

How to use it

Use this cool denim blue on a relaxed sofa, occasional chair or window treatment, pairing it with chalky neutrals, pale timber and warm woven accents to balance its slightly slate-toned depth.
