Waikiki Midnight combines deep midnight navy with chalky cream and warm taupe threads in an irregular horizontal stripe. Its broken, layered bands give the surface a tactile, weathered character.

About this fabric

This outdoor fabric has a substantial 414gsm weight and a 140cm usable width, making it well suited to hard-wearing upholstery. Across the navy ground, uneven cream, taupe and lighter blue lines create a softly distressed stripe rather than a sharp geometric pattern. The pattern repeats every 67cm vertically and 36cm horizontally, while the closely woven surface gives the colourway depth as the lighter threads catch the light. Part of Clarke & Clarke’s Alfresco Indoor Outdoor Weaves collection, it brings a cool, grounded navy tone to exterior seating and relaxed interior schemes.

How to use it

Pair Waikiki Midnight with pale limestone, weathered timber and warm neutral cushions to soften its cool navy depth. Its horizontal movement works particularly well across bench cushions, occasional chairs and outdoor sofas.

Use this deep navy, softly weathered stripe on outdoor seating where its dark, grounded tone can anchor pale stone, timber and natural textures.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
