About this fabric

At 509 gsm, this is a substantial fabric suited to upholstery, with a firm-looking woven structure rather than a fine, fluid drape. The midnight-blue ground is layered with lighter blue-grey flecks, giving the surface depth without introducing a separate decorative motif. Its 139 cm usable width and 40 m standard length make it practical for larger upholstery requirements. Both the vertical and horizontal pattern repeats are 0 cm, so the subtle linear texture can be positioned without matching a repeating pattern.

How to use it

Use Moray Midnight on a sofa, dining chair or upholstered headboard where its cool navy depth can anchor pale timber, chalky walls and warm metal accents. The lightly striated weave also suits tailored cushions and structured seating in a smart, understated scheme.

Use this dense midnight-blue weave to bring depth and tailored texture to upholstered seating.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
