About this fabric

This traditional Ashley Wilde fabric from the Palma Collection is woven in 85% cotton and 15% linen, giving it a crisp, substantial handle that suits both severe contract upholstery and drapes. The pattern is tightly scaled, with 8.5cm vertical repeat and 3.5cm horizontal repeat, creating a steady all-over rhythm across the cloth. In this colourway the navy ground reads cool and composed, while the small ivory motif stands out clearly without looking stark. At 140cm wide and 260gsm, it has enough body for tailored soft furnishings and seating, and the 45,000 rub test underlines its practical performance for demanding interiors.

How to use it

Its dark blue tone works well in formal sitting rooms, studies, or bedrooms where a patterned fabric needs depth rather than brightness. Pair it with chalky neutrals, walnut, or brushed brass to bring out the crisp cream motif.
