About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 85% cotton and 15% linen, Mondrago Smoke is a substantial fabric at 364 grams per linear metre and 260 grams per square metre. The 140 cm width and 45,000 rub test support its specified use for severe contract upholstery and drapes. In this colourway, the motif sits on a cool grey ground with a lighter, misted detail that gives the repeat extra definition without making it stark. The small vertical rhythm of the pattern feels classic and tailored, and the overall effect is muted, balanced and easy to place in both contemporary and traditional schemes.

How to use it

Use Mondrago Smoke on a tailored armchair, banquette or roman blind where the small-scale repeat can add structure without dominating. Its cool smoky tone works especially well with oak, walnut, parchment whites and deep charcoal accents.
