Lucio Graphite

Portofino Collection FabricLUCIO

Lucio Graphite is a deep graphite grey fabric with a fine vertical rib that reads crisp and tailored in the swatch. The tone is cool and even, with just enough surface movement to stop it feeling flat.

About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 88% polyester and 12% nylon, Lucio Graphite is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 40,000 rub test and a 145cm width. The close vertical lines visible in the image give the cloth a controlled, pinstriped effect rather than a bold stripe, so the graphite ground feels quiet and refined. At 363 grams per linear metre and 250 grams per square metre, it presents as a substantial fabric with enough body for seating as well as a clean hang. The colour is a cool, smoky charcoal with low sheen, so the texture catches light softly without breaking the dark, architectural mood.

How to use it

Use Lucio Graphite on a sofa, banquette or full-height curtains where you want a sharper, more tailored finish than a flat grey. It pairs especially well with pale oak, black metal and warm neutrals, letting the graphite tone anchor the room.

A sleek graphite plain with a subtle vertical rib that works neatly in tailored interiors.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Lucio Graphite without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
