Lucio Emerald

Portofino Collection FabricLUCIO

Lucio Emerald is a deep, quietly saturated green with a tailored, vertical ribbed surface that gives the plain a subtle sense of movement. The colour reads dark and refined, with a cool woodland depth rather than a bright jewel tone.

About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 88% polyester and 12% nylon, Lucio Emerald is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, making it a practical choice as well as a decorative one. The fabric has no vertical pattern repeat and only a slight 0.5cm horizontal repeat, so the overall effect stays clean and plain while the fine ribs add texture close up. At 250gsm and 145cm wide, it has enough substance for seating yet remains suitable for drapery where a structured fall is wanted. The 40,000 rub test supports its contract credentials, while the emerald tone itself feels muted and sophisticated rather than glossy or overtly bright.

How to use it

Use Lucio Emerald on a statement armchair, banquette, or pleated curtains to bring depth to pale timber, brass, or stone finishes. Its dark green shade sits especially well with warm neutrals, smoked glass, and walnut.

A rich, tailored emerald that works beautifully for upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
