Tanzania Fern

Serengeti Collection FabricTANZANIA

Tanzania Fern pairs a softly mottled fern-green ground with a dense animal-inspired texture that feels earthy and quietly layered. The print reads natural rather than bright, with darker marks giving the surface extra depth.

About this fabric

This Ashley Wilde fabric is a 100% polyester textile designed for drapes only, with a 140cm width and a substantial 250gsm weight. In Tanzania Fern, the palette settles into muted fern and sage-green tones with charcoal detailing, creating a leafier, more organic take on the Serengeti-inspired pattern. The 24cm vertical and horizontal repeat gives the design a clear rhythmic structure, while the textured finish helps the motif soften into the background. Made in India, it has enough body to hang neatly while still feeling decorative and atmospheric.

How to use it

Use this colourway for relaxed curtains in rooms that already have natural materials, where its green-grey depth can echo timber, linen, and indoor planting. It also works well when you want pattern without brightness, especially against pale walls or warm neutral upholstery.

A soft fern-green animal texture that brings subtle movement to tailored curtains.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Tanzania Fern without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
