Bedgebury Forest

Sherwood Collection FabricBEDGEBURY

Bedgebury Forest pairs a deep woodland ground with a repeating tree motif in soft sage and taupe. The overall effect is quietly decorative, with the pattern sitting clearly against the dark backdrop.

About this fabric

This drapes-only fabric is woven in 80% Recycled Polyester and 20% Polyester, with a substantial 300 gsm weight and a 144 cm width. The design has a conversational character, showing stylised trees and leaf clusters arranged in a regular repeat, with the pattern measured at 37 cm vertically and 36 cm horizontally. In this colourway, the forest-green ground feels earthy and muted rather than bright, while the pale trunks and soft green foliage read gently against it. Small accents of warm tan add a subtle natural warmth and stop the palette from feeling flat.

How to use it

Use it for curtains or full-height drapes where the dark green ground can frame a room and make pale walls or woodwork stand out. It works especially well with oak, aged brass and other botanical or heritage-inspired finishes.

Rich woodland colour for curtains that want depth without feeling heavy.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
