Madagascar Fern reads as a soft sage green with an irregular spotted pattern that gives the surface gentle movement. The overall effect is muted and airy, with darker green-grey markings lifting across a pale ground.

About this fabric

Madagascar Fern from Ashley Wilde’s Serengeti Collection is a textured drapes-only fabric made from 87% polyester, 12.5% cotton and 0.5% linen. At 138cm wide and 220gsm, it has enough body to hang neatly while still keeping a light, decorative feel. The small-scale animal-style pattern is rendered in tonal green-grey spots over a pale sage base, so the design feels layered rather than high contrast. Its repeated 38cm vertical and 35cm horizontal pattern helps create a rhythmic, softly structured finish across curtains.

How to use it

Use this sage-toned colourway for relaxed curtains in a scheme with timber, brushed metal and chalky neutrals. It will sit especially well in rooms that need pattern without visual weight.

A muted sage ground with fine tonal patterning that feels quietly tailored and easy to layer.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
