Semillion Sage

Provence Collection FabricSEMILLION

Semillion Sage has a calm, muted sage ground with a dense botanical print that feels quietly aged rather than bright or fresh. The leafy stems and small floral clusters sit close together, giving the design a layered, tapestry-like look.

About this fabric

Woven in 67% polyester and 33% cotton, this Ashley Wilde fabric is specified for drapes only and has a substantial 336 g per linear metre weight, which helps the cloth hang with a steady, tailored fall. The botanical pattern shows scrolling stems, elongated leaves and small clustered blossoms in soft green-grey tones over a deeper olive-sage background. With a 32 cm vertical repeat and 45.5 cm horizontal repeat, the motif has enough rhythm to read clearly across larger window treatments without losing its delicate detail. The 140 cm width makes it practical for full-length curtains, while the overall finish appears matte and gently textured rather than shiny.

How to use it

Use Semillion Sage for full-height curtains, Roman blinds or layered interlinings in rooms that want a subdued country-house feel. Its cool, weathered green pairs especially well with limestone, oak, sisal and brushed metal finishes.

The softened sage ground works beautifully with natural wood, plaster tones and aged brass.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
