Pepin River

Provence Collection FabricPEPIN

Pepin River has a softly mottled, textural surface in a muted blue-grey tone. The finish reads calm and weathered, with fine lighter flecks lifting the darker ground.

About this fabric

Woven in India from 67% polyester and 33% cotton, Pepin River is a drapes-only fabric with a substantial 336gsm handle and a 140cm width. Its surface has a dry, slubbed texture that gives the blue-grey ground a gently variegated, river-washed look. The small-scale texture repeat of 28cm vertical and 23cm horizontal creates a steady, organic rhythm rather than a bold pattern. Light catches the paler threads to soften the deeper slate base, so the overall effect stays cool, muted and quietly tailored.

How to use it

Use this blue-grey on full-length curtains where you want texture more than pattern. It sits well with pale oak, chalky whites and deeper navy accents for a restrained, layered room.

A cool blue-grey that adds subtle texture without overwhelming a scheme.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
