Jules Truffle

Provence Collection FabricJULES

Jules Truffle has a softly weathered look, with vertical stripes that read as warm taupe against a slightly lighter, textured ground. The woven surface gives the colourway a quiet depth rather than a flat stripe effect.

About this fabric

This fabric is woven in 67% polyester and 33% cotton and is specified for drapes only, which suits its softly textured, medium-weight handle. The stripe is vertically arranged with a 21.5cm repeat, while the horizontal repeat is 23.5cm, creating a regular rhythm across the width. Visually, the palette sits in a warm taupe-brown range with pale oatmeal highlights that catch the light and soften the stripe edges. At 140cm wide and 336 grams per linear metre, it has enough substance to hang neatly while still feeling refined and textural. The overall effect is understated and tailored, with a gentle rustic tone rather than a sharp contrast.

How to use it

Use Jules Truffle for lined curtains, relaxed Roman blinds, or layered drapes where the subtle stripe can add movement without dominating the room. Its earthy taupe works especially well with oak, linen, and muted stone finishes.

A muted taupe stripe that brings quiet texture to tailored curtains and relaxed country schemes.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Jules Truffle without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
