Jules Ochre

Provence Collection FabricJULES

Jules Ochre shows a lively vertical stripe with a softly textured, slightly slubbed surface. The warm golden-ochre ground is broken by pale chalky bands, giving the fabric a sunlit, rustic feel.

About this fabric

This colourway in the Provence Collection reads as a muted ochre with creamy vertical accents, so the stripe feels warm rather than brash. The surface has a dry, textured look that suits the 67% polyester, 33% cotton composition, while the drapery-only handle makes it ideal for curtains and blinds rather than upholstery. With a 140cm width and repeating stripe design of 21.5cm vertically and 23.5cm horizontally, it creates a steady rhythm across longer lengths. At 336 grams per linear metre, it has enough body to hang well while still keeping the pattern light and airy in appearance.

How to use it

Pair Jules Ochre with limewashed woods, plaster pinks, or soft putty neutrals for a relaxed Mediterranean scheme. Its warm, weathered stripe works especially well on full-length curtains where the light can catch the pale threads.

Use for tailored curtains where the warm ochre lifts a room without overpowering it.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
