Baux Ochre

Provence Collection FabricBAUX

Baux Ochre shows a warm ochre ground animated by an intricate ivory pattern of stylised birds and foliage. The design reads decorative and textured, with the lighter motif standing out crisply against the earthy base.

About this fabric

Part of the Provence Collection by Ashley Wilde, this fabric is composed of 67% polyester and 33% cotton and is specified for drapes only. The design has a substantial feel at 336 grams per linear metre, with a 140cm width and repeats of 34.5cm vertically and 23.5cm horizontally. Visually, the colourway is a muted ochre-gold with a soft brown undertone, while the motif appears in a pale ivory that gives the pattern clear definition without looking harsh. The repeated birds and botanical forms create a lively conversational surface that feels grounded and warm rather than bright or glossy.

How to use it

Use Baux Ochre to bring a rich, sunbaked note to curtains in rooms with timber, linen and aged brass. The earthy gold ground and ivory pattern work especially well where you want pattern and warmth without a saturated colour hit.

A warm ochre ground with ivory woven motifs that suits elegant curtains or statement blinds.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
