About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 85% cotton and 15% linen, Calvia Gold is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, with a 45,000 rub test and a 140cm width. The design shows a small traditional leaf repeat with an 8cm vertical repeat and 5.5cm horizontal repeat, creating a neat, rhythmic surface. In this colourway, the motif appears as a soft mustard gold against an ivory-beige background, so the overall effect is lighter and less intense than a true ochre. The finish looks dry and textile-rich rather than glossy, which suits the fabric’s tailored, traditional character.

How to use it

Use Calvia Gold on an accent chair, ottoman, or upholstered headboard where the small repeat can be appreciated up close. It also works well for curtains or Roman blinds in a room with pale timber, warm white paint, and muted natural textures.
