About this fabric

Woven in Spain from 85% cotton and 15% linen, this fabric has the crisp, breathable feel suggested by its cotton-rich handle and the subtle texture visible in the ground. The design repeats in a small vertical pattern repeat of 8cm and a horizontal repeat of 5.5cm, creating a tight, regular layout across the cloth. In this colourway, the indigo motif reads as a muted blue-grey with a slightly cool cast, while the pale background keeps the overall effect light and airy. With a width of 140cm and a rub test result of 45,000, Calvia Indigo is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, making it as practical as it is decorative.

How to use it

Use Calvia Indigo on accent chairs, curtains or Roman blinds where the small-scale pattern can bring structure without overpowering the room. Its cool indigo notes work especially well with sand, oak and chalky white finishes.

Pair with warm woods and soft neutrals to let the indigo motif add quiet character.
