About this fabric

This fabric is woven in a compact, small-scale texture that gives the surface a lively, grain-like look rather than a flat solid colour. The indigo ground sits between navy and slate, with tiny pale flecks and warmer stone notes that lift the darker yarns. With a 138cm approx width and a composition of 50% viscose, 27% cotton, 18% linen and 5% polyester, it has the feel of a considered decorative textile with a natural matte character. The repeat is vertical 0cm / horizontal 0cm approx, so the texture reads as an all-over weave rather than a patterned repeat.

How to use it

Its cool, muted depth suits contemporary upholstery, especially alongside pale oak, chalky neutrals and brushed metal. Used for drapery or cushions, the indigo-grey mix adds weight without feeling too severe.
