Cesar Prune

Viggo FabricM4147-07

Cesar Prune brings a warm, autumnal animal pattern with a rich prune outline over an ochre ground. The effect is lively but grounded, with enough depth to feel tailored rather than flashy.

About this fabric

This Viggo fabric by Manuel Canovas has a 140cm approximate width and a 46cm vertical repeat with a 35cm horizontal repeat, so the pattern reads as a substantial all-over design. Its 50% viscose, 23% cotton, 22% polyester and 5% linen composition gives the surface a textured, cloth-like handle that suits both upholstery and drapery use. In this colourway, the burnt ochre ground is warmed further by the deep prune motif, creating a dry, matte-looking contrast that feels earthy and slightly exotic. The small-scale animal markings sit close together, giving the fabric energy without losing the richness of the darker outline. Care code Q 8 < T 3 and fire code √BM are supplied for this cloth.

How to use it

Use Cesar Prune to add warmth to a statement chair, ottoman or Roman blind, especially alongside tobacco leather, walnut and aged metal finishes. The ochre base keeps the look inviting, while the prune detail adds a more luxurious, cocooning edge.

Pair it with dark timber and aged brass for a rich, tailored look.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
