Odin Bois de Rose shows a softly mottled rosewood pink with a warm, earthy cast. The close woven texture gives the colour a gentle depth rather than a flat finish.

About this fabric

This colourway reads as a muted pink-brown, with tiny flecks of cream and deeper russet warming the surface. The weave looks finely textured and evenly balanced, which suits the fabric’s 138cm approximate width and its upholstery-or-drapery versatility. Its composition of 50% viscose, 27% cotton, 18% linen and 5% polyester gives the cloth a natural-looking body with a subtly softened handle. With no repeat to interrupt the surface, the effect is calm and continuous, making the shade feel especially tailored and understated.

How to use it

Use Bois de Rose on an upholstered occasional chair, banquette or headboard where its warm pink-brown tone can add quiet colour without dominating the room. It also works well with chalky neutrals, pale oak and brushed brass for a soft, grown-up scheme.

Its warm rose tone and refined weave make it an easy choice for tailored upholstery or elegant curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
