About this fabric

The design alternates broad pale linen and muted stone-coloured bands with slim raspberry stripes, giving the colourway a restrained, tailored depth rather than a bright pink impression. Fine darker woven lines sit alongside the raspberry, while the herringbone-like texture catches the light across the wider bands. At 373 gsm and 137 cm usable width, this is a substantial textile well suited to upholstery. The specification records a 0 cm vertical repeat and an 8.7 cm horizontal repeat, keeping the stripe layout consistent across the width.

How to use it

Use the soft raspberry lines to add measured colour to a chair, bench or headboard, pairing them with chalky linen, warm taupe and pale painted timber. The understated woven texture keeps the scheme smart without making the pink feel overly sweet.

Use the muted raspberry stripes to bring tailored colour to upholstered seating, balanced with linen and taupe neutrals.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Alderton Raspberry/Linen without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
