Alderton Natural

Avebury FabricCCF0235-04

Alderton Natural combines a softly warm beige ground with slender taupe stripes in a closely woven, lightly textured surface. The tonal contrast is restrained, giving the vertical pattern a tailored rather than graphic appearance.

About this fabric

The fabric has a 373gsm weight and a 137cm usable width, making its substantial woven handle well suited to upholstery. Fine taupe lines run vertically across the natural beige ground, with the 8.7cm horizontal repeat creating a measured stripe rhythm and no vertical repeat. The small woven texture catches the light gently across the pale surface, adding depth without changing the calm, warm character of the colourway. A standard length of 40 metres supports coordinated upholstery projects where the stripe direction is part of the design.

How to use it

Use Alderton Natural on a tailored armchair, dining seat or sofa where its warm beige base can soften timber and painted finishes. Pair it with chalk, oat and muted taupe tones to let the fine vertical stripes provide quiet structure.

The warm beige ground and fine taupe striping bring tailored structure to upholstered seating while retaining a light, natural feel.

Pairs well with

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Alderton Natural without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
