About this fabric

Woven in 100% polyester, Epworth Orchid is specified for drapes only and measures 140cm wide, with a 9cm vertical repeat and 1.5cm horizontal repeat. The fabric has a small-scale striped effect, visible here as closely spaced ripples that give the swatch a neat, ordered rhythm. Its orchid pink tone is muted and powdery, with a pale blush-lilac cast that softens in the light. At 378 grams per linear metre and 270 grams per square metre, it has a substantial curtain weight that should hang with a smooth, tailored line. Made in India, it is a practical decorative choice where the subtle pattern and restrained colour can do the work without overpowering the room.

How to use it

Use this soft orchid shade for bedroom or sitting-room curtains where you want a lifted, understated colour. It pairs well with chalky whites, pale oak and deeper mauve accents for a layered, feminine finish.
