Furley Ginger shows a softly mottled, pebble-like texture in a warm ginger terracotta shade. The close weave gives the colour a dry, natural look with subtle tonal movement across the surface.

About this fabric

This Ashley Wilde fabric from Essential Weaves Vol 2 is made from 100% polyester and is suitable for light domestic upholstery and drapes. It measures 140cm wide and has a 18,000 light domestic rub test, making it a practical choice for everyday pieces with a lighter use level. The swatch reads as a muted ginger brown with terracotta warmth, with tiny textured flecks that soften the overall effect. Its small-scale pattern and 16.5cm vertical by 12cm horizontal repeat create an understated surface detail rather than a bold motif.

How to use it

Use this colourway to warm up armchairs, bench seats or relaxed curtains where you want colour without sharp contrast. It works especially well with natural woods, aged brass and layered neutrals.

A warm ginger tone that brings easy depth to compact seating and cosy drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
