Lunar Rust

Lunar Book Collection FabricLUNAR

Lunar Rust is a quietly textured plain in a muted rust-clay tone, with a soft matte look that reads warm rather than bright. The close weave gives the surface a calm, upholstered feel in the photo.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a restrained rust-brown with a clay undertone, softened by a fine woven texture that slightly catches the light across the surface. It is part of the Lunar Book Collection by Ashley Wilde and is specified as 54% polyester and 46% cotton, making it suitable for severe contract upholstery and drapes. The 50,000 severe contract rub test supports hard-working interior schemes, while the 140cm width gives good usability for both furniture and window applications. At 459 grams per linear metre, the cloth has enough substance to feel substantial without appearing overly heavy, and the plain style keeps the focus on its warm, earthy colour.

How to use it

Use this rust shade to warm up walnut woods, aged brass and natural linens, or pair it with deep green accents for a grounded scheme. On drapes, the tone will read richer and more cocooning; on upholstery, it brings a tailored, contract-ready finish.

A warm rust plain that brings depth without overpowering a room.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
