Lunar Silver

Lunar Book Collection FabricLUNAR

Lunar Silver is a softly luminous plain with a cool silver-grey cast and a fine, even woven texture. The surface reads calm and understated, with just enough grain to give the cloth depth.

About this fabric

Woven in India from 54% polyester and 46% cotton, this fabric is specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes and carries a 50,000 rub test for demanding interiors. At 140cm wide and 340gsm, it has the substance to sit neatly on seating while still working well at the window. The visible finish is a muted silver-grey, cooler than a beige and softer than a stark grey, with a lightly textured face that catches the light without looking shiny. Its plain style keeps the colourway front and centre, making the quiet tonal variation across the weave part of the appeal.

How to use it

Use Lunar Silver when you want a restrained neutral that brightens a room without feeling stark; it works especially well with pale woods, black accents and chalky off-whites. The cool silver tone also suits tailored curtains or smart upholstery in contemporary, pared-back schemes.

A quiet silver-grey plain that feels clean and versatile on both upholstery and drapes.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
