Lunar Stone

Lunar Book Collection FabricLUNAR

Lunar Stone is a quiet, tonal plain in a pale lunar grey with a lightly mottled, linen-like surface. Its soft neutral reading feels fresh and composed, with just enough texture to stop it looking flat.

About this fabric

This colourway shows a cool, misty grey that sits close to stone and silver rather than a strong charcoal or beige. The visible weave has a refined, slightly slubbed character, giving the cloth a soft natural look even though its 54% polyester and 46% cotton composition is built for durability. Specified for severe contract upholstery and drapes, it has a 50,000 severe contract rub test and a practical 140cm width, making it a reliable choice for commercial and residential schemes. At 340gsm and 459 grams per linear metre, it reads as a substantial, versatile plain that should hang neatly while also standing up well on seating.

How to use it

Use this pale grey on clean-lined sofas, banquettes or headboards where the subtle weave can add texture without introducing pattern. It also layers easily with chalk white, warm oak and deeper graphite for a calm, contemporary room scheme.

A calm, hard-wearing neutral that works across tailored upholstery and elegant drapery.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
