About this fabric

This plain fabric combines 54% polyester and 46% cotton, with a substantial 340 gsm handle and a 50,000 Severe Contract rub test for demanding interiors. The 140 cm width makes it practical for both upholstery and drapes, while the visible texture reads as gently crosshatched and matte rather than glossy. In this colourway, the tone sits between beige and pale taupe, with a warmer undertone that softens the overall look. It is made in India and, at 459 grams per linear metre, has enough body to hold a neat, upholstered line while still feeling composed as a curtain fabric.

How to use it

Use Lunar Sand where you want a light, natural base that won’t overpower timber, stone, or linen finishes. Its warm neutral depth is especially effective in rooms that need softness without introducing a strong colour.
