About this fabric

This colourway shows a dusky plum surface with a fine horizontal weave that gives the cloth a lightly striated, tactile finish. The shade sits between mauve and berry, reading cooler and more restrained than a bright purple, with a soft matte depth rather than shine. Woven in 54% polyester and 46% cotton, it is specified for Severe Contract Upholstery And Drapes and carries a 50,000 Severe Contract rub test, making it suitable for demanding interiors. At 140cm wide and 340gsm, it has the substance to hold its colour well while still working across a range of room schemes.

How to use it

Use this plum tone to warm up neutral seating, or hang it as drapery where its muted berry colour can add depth without feeling heavy. It pairs well with pale oak, brushed brass and soft greys for a composed, contemporary scheme.
