Theo Aubergine
Theo FabricJ0191-15
Theo Aubergine shows a fine, tightly woven herringbone with a soft, muted purple-brown cast. The small-scale pattern reads quietly from a distance, with just enough texture to give the shade depth.

About this fabric
This colourway sits in a restrained aubergine family, softened by mauve and brown undertones rather than appearing bright or heavily violet. The surface has a neat, compact weave that gives the fabric a crisp, tailored look while still feeling warm and tactile. At approximately 146cm wide, and woven in 60% recycled wool, 15% polyester, 10% polyamide, 10% wool and 5% other fibres, it offers the substance of a practical fabric with a refined finish. The vertical repeat is 0cm and the horizontal repeat is approximately 1cm, which supports the regular herringbone effect visible in the image. Care code Q 8 + T 3 and fire code √BH are supplied for specification reference.
How to use it
Use it on a small sofa, banquette or dining chairs where the muted aubergine can add colour without overpowering the room. It pairs especially well with oak, smoked wood and chalky neutrals.
A refined, low-contrast weave that works well on tailored upholstery or relaxed curtains.

A pattern needs somewhere for the eye to rest, so these are the plains and textures that sit beside Theo Aubergine without fighting it. Mixed across the houses we hold, which is the part a single supplier's book cannot do.

Paint that goes with it
Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
