Theo Grey

Theo FabricJ0191-01

Theo Grey is a softly textured grey cloth with a fine herringbone effect that reads calm and understated in the swatch. The pale, cool-leaning shade gives the surface a gentle, chalky softness rather than a flat solid finish.

About this fabric

Woven in a 60% Recycled Wool, 15% Polyester, 10% Polyamide, 10% Wool, 5% Other Fibres blend, Theo Grey has the practical handle of a smart upholstery fabric with a refined, low-key surface. The repeat is V 0cm / H 1cm approx, which keeps the herringbone movement subtle and easy to use across seating. At 146cm approx wide, it is a versatile cloth for benches, chairs and tailored soft furnishings where a quiet pattern is wanted. The grey tone is light and cool, with a faintly mottled weave that adds depth without becoming busy.

How to use it

Use Theo Grey on a sofa or occasional chair for a clean, tailored look, then layer it with white, blackened oak or soft blue accents. Its pale grey herringbone also suits contemporary cushions and roman blinds where you want texture rather than contrast.

A restrained pale grey that works beautifully on tailored upholstery and layered neutrals.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
