About this fabric

Woven in 64% polyester, 32% viscose and 4% cotton, this fabric has a compact, tactile handle and a small-scale surface texture that reads clearly in the swatch. The colour is a restrained pewter grey, softened by lighter and darker yarns that create a mottled, stone-like effect. With a width of approximately 138cm and no repeat in either direction, it is a straightforward choice for tailored upholstery or neat drapery. The overall impression is smart and understated, with enough texture to keep the shade from looking harsh or overly industrial.

How to use it

Use Shelley Pewter to anchor a scheme with oak, charcoal, chalky white or black accents. Its cool grey tone suits clean-lined seating, relaxed curtains or a layered contemporary room that needs quiet texture.

A grounded pewter grey that works well when you want texture without strong pattern.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
