About this fabric

Shelley Paprika from the Shelley collection by Jane Churchill is a 138cm wide fabric composed of 64% polyester, 32% viscose and 4% cotton. The weave reads as a compact, even texture with no visible repeat, which keeps the surface calm and neatly structured. In this colourway, the mix of terracotta, cinnamon and softly sunbaked orange tones creates a warm but restrained finish rather than a bright statement. The slight visual grain catches the light gently, adding interest without interrupting the plain look. With its balanced handle and practical fibre blend, it suits schemes that need colour and texture in equal measure.

How to use it

Use it on an upholstered armchair, banquette or occasional sofa where the paprika tone can add warmth without overpowering the room. It also works well for relaxed curtains or Roman blinds alongside walnut woods, natural linens and muted green accents.

A warm paprika tone that brings a soft, earthy richness to both tailored seating and textured curtains.

Paint that goes with it

Two ways to take the room. Both colours are from houses we hold, so a pot can come off the same order as the cloth. Screens shift colour, so treat these as a direction and bring the cloth to the shelf before you buy the paint.
